2017-2018 Master Class Season

The International Music Academy masterclass — Nancy Weems with IMA virtuoso Magen Zeng

In the 2017-2018 year we were able to offer four master classes taught by leading pedagogues in the Houston academic community. These occasions offered an opportunity to several IMA Virtuosi students for a rich and exceptional learning experience – being in the spotlight in the unique atmosphere of a master class.

IMA Virtuosi Master Classes are open to the public and widely publicized. The classes were attended by a number of Houston piano teachers, many of whom commented on how inspiring it was for them to hear students being taught by such outstanding teachers as Dr. Robert Roux and Nancy Weems. We believe that this program will raise the level of private teaching in Houston.
